Background information about 'TAROT'

Aether Realm return with "Tarot", a record that grabs you by the throat from the very first riff and refuses to let go. This North Carolina crew has always had a knack for blending ferocious death metal intensity with surprisingly catchy, melodic passages, and on this re-issue the magic is fully intact. The album is a journey through dark forests, ancient battles and triumphant victories, with every track feeling like a chapter in an epic saga. The guitar work is nothing short of spectacular, weaving intricate harmonies and blazing solos that will have you air-guitaring in no time. Meanwhile, the rhythm section pounds away with relentless precision, giving the whole affair a massive, thunderous backbone.

What really sets "Tarot" apart is how effortlessly the band shifts gears. One moment you're being pummeled by blast beats and guttural roars, the next you're swept up in a soaring, almost folk-infused melody that sticks in your head for days. The production is crisp and powerful, letting every layer of the sound shine through without losing any of the raw aggression. Whether you're a longtime fan of the melodic death metal scene or just discovering what these guys are all about, this is an essential listen that rewards repeated spins. Aether Realm have crafted something truly special here, and this re-issue is the perfect way to experience it.
