Gluecifer

Gluecifer emerged in 1994 from a desire to revolutionize Norway's rock music scene. Founded by Biff Malibu (vocals) and Captain Poon (guitar), the band evolved from a cover formation originally playing Misfits songs for a New Year's Eve party into one of Norway's most successful rock acts. The band name Gluecifer - a combination of "Glue" and "Lucifer" - perfectly reflects their ironic approach and unconventional attitude.

The lineup stabilized with Raldo Useless (guitar), Danny Young (drums), and Peter Larsson (bass) after various members had left the band. Gluecifer quickly established themselves as the "Kings of Rock" with their uncompromising blend of punk rock, traditional rock 'n' roll, and glamorous elements. Their energetic live performances became legendary for their sheer authenticity and raw energy.

After a successful career spanning five studio albums and countless singles, EPs, and compilations, the band disbanded in 2005 following an extensive farewell tour. However, fans never forgot Gluecifer. In 2018, they returned triumphantly, proving at performances on renowned festivals such as the Azkena Festival in Spain, Hellfest in France, and Tons Of Rock in Norway that their magic remained unbroken. With Same Drug New High (2026), they deliver their first studio album in over twenty years - a statement showing that Gluecifer are more mature, versatile, and determined than ever.
