Background information about 'The Throne Within'
Swedish heavy metal titans Ram deliver their most commanding statement yet with "The Throne Within", a crushing opus that showcases the band's evolution into true metal royalty. This isn't just another heavy metal album – it's a declaration of war against mediocrity, packed with razor-sharp riffs and thunderous rhythms that'll leave your speakers begging for mercy. From the opening assault of "The Shadowwork" to the epic finale of "Into The Light", Ram proves they've mastered the art of crafting anthems that are both brutally heavy and impossibly catchy.
The production on "The Throne Within" is absolutely pristine, allowing every crushing guitar tone and pounding drum beat to hit with maximum impact. Tracks like "Violence (Is Golden)" and "Spirit Reaper" showcase the band's ability to balance old-school metal sensibilities with a modern edge that feels fresh and vital. The extended versions of "Spirit Reaper" and "Ravnfell" on the second LP are pure genius, giving fans even more of what they crave while demonstrating Ram's commitment to giving their audience maximum value.
