Mongolian folk-metal trailblazers The HU are back with "Hun", their latest sonic journey released via Better Noise Music. Building on the massive international breakthroughs of "The Gereg" and "Rumble of Thunder", the band pushes their signature blend of traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing into bold new territory, wrapped in a modern, high-energy rock production that hits like a freight train across the steppe.
Recorded once again at the Nature Sound Studio in Ulaanbaatar, a place the band has come to call a second home, "Hun" captures everything that makes The HU so special. Frontman Gala puts it perfectly: "We took our time to do this right, and I'm so glad that we're almost ready to release what we have worked on these past few years. As well as always staying true to ourselves, the most important thing for us is longevity." That philosophy shines through in tracks like "The Real You", "The Men" and "Lost Soul" — songs built to last for decades, not just chart for a week. It's another powerful chapter in an already legendary story, and it sounds absolutely massive.
