TURBONEGRO · Ass Cobra | CD

Jewelcase CD.

Background information about 'Ass Cobra'

This Norwegian punk rock masterpiece stands as one of the most gloriously unhinged albums to emerge from the Scandinavian underground scene. Turbonegro delivered something truly special with "Ass Cobra" - a relentless barrage of punk anthems that perfectly captures the band's trademark blend of humor, aggression, and theatrical excess. From the opening blast of "A Dazzling Display Of Talent" to the epic closer "Raggare Is A Bunch Of Motherfuckers", this album showcases the Norwegian maniacs at their most focused and ferocious.

The production here is raw yet punchy, giving each track the perfect amount of grit while maintaining enough clarity to let the band's razor-sharp songwriting shine through. Tracks like "Denim Demon" and "I Got Erection" demonstrate Turbonegro's ability to craft memorable hooks within their chaotic punk framework, while deeper cuts like "Just Flesh" reveal the band's more experimental tendencies. This reissue brings new life to an already essential album, making it the perfect entry point for newcomers while satisfying longtime devotees of the Turbonegro legacy.
