Background information about 'Into The Ruins'

Originally formed in London, Dungeon began their speed-thrash-d-beat conquest with an aptly titled demo "Unholy Speed Attack" back in 2015. A year later came the demo "English Hell", released by the esteemed Me Saco Un Ojo Records. The band continued working with Me Saco Un Ojo to unleash the mini-album "Purifying Fire" in 2018, which hit with feverish intensity and personality. This latest offering was recorded live during one dirty weekend in a damp Berlin bunker by engineer Max Hillebrand (Vasseur, Children) in September 2022.

With five filthy tracks on "Into The Ruins", Dungeon dig even deeper into destruction, with increasingly extreme influences flowing into their sound. Their berserker energy conjures up Sodom and brutal 80s thrash, but also Morbid Angel, Mercyful Fate and Anti Cimex from the Raped Ass era, all melding into Dungeon's signature explosive sound. The Venom/Discharge/Priest foundation is still there but distorted and perverted to an even greater extent.
