Background information about 'Drowned By Blood'
When Frostvore unleashed "Drowned by Blood", they didn't just craft another death metal album – they forged a weapon of pure sonic devastation that cuts through the underground like a rusty blade through flesh. This debut full-length is a relentless assault of old-school brutality that grabs you by the throat from the opening riff and never lets go. The band's approach to death metal is refreshingly straightforward yet devastatingly effective, channeling the raw energy of the genre's golden era while maintaining a modern edge that feels utterly contemporary.
Every track on "Drowned by Blood" pulses with an urgency that's become increasingly rare in today's over-produced metal landscape. The guitar work is absolutely crushing, delivering riff after riff of pure headbanging gold, while the rhythm section pounds away with the precision of a war machine. The vocals are a perfect blend of guttural growls and snarling aggression that complement the instrumental chaos perfectly. This isn't music for the faint-hearted – it's a blood-soaked celebration of everything that makes death metal so damn compelling.
