Background information about 'Hospital Carnage'

Spanish grindcore maniacs Haemorrhage deliver another brutal dose of medical-themed mayhem with "Hospital Carnage", their 2011 offering that showcases exactly why they've been one of Europe's most consistent extreme metal acts for over two decades. This album is a relentless 15-track assault that combines their signature goregrind brutality with surprisingly catchy hooks and memorable riffs, all wrapped in their trademark obsession with pathological horror. The production hits that sweet spot between clarity and rawness, allowing every surgical strike of the guitars and every pummeling blast beat to cut through the mix like a scalpel through flesh.

What makes "Hospital Carnage" stand out in Haemorrhage's already impressive catalog is how they've managed to inject more groove and dynamics into their formula without sacrificing an ounce of intensity. Tracks like "Traumageddon" and "911 (Emergency Slaughter)" showcase the band's ability to craft genuine anthems within the grindcore framework, while deeper cuts like "Necronatology" demonstrate their willingness to stretch out and explore more atmospheric territory. The album flows like a perfectly choreographed emergency room procedure - controlled chaos that somehow makes perfect sense.

For fans of: Carcass, Exhumed, General Surgery, Impetigo and Repulsion.
