The opener "Gloom and the Art of Tribulation" set the tone immediately – nearly five minutes where technical death metal was skillfully woven together with dark, atmospheric passages.

"Serpent of Depravity" and "Funereal Malediction" maintained the standard effortlessly, featuring the precise riffs and Sven de Caluwé's unmistakable vocal style that the scene has respected for years. Each track demonstrated that Aborted had mastered their craft perfectly: blast beats met complex guitar work, brutal breakdowns alternated with technical finesse. The whole thing was produced so that both the technical details came through and the raw aggression that defines the Aborted sound.
