Background information about 'Sacrificial / Feasting The Beast'

Before Deicide became synonymous with blasphemous death metal supremacy, there was Amon – and these two legendary demos represent nothing short of the primordial scream that birthed Florida's most ferocious death metal dynasty. "Sacrificial" and "Feasting The Beast" capture Glen Benton and the Hoffman brothers in their most raw, unfiltered state, delivering crushing riffs and demonic vocals that would later define an entire generation of extreme metal.

Remastered by the legendary Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios, these recordings have never sounded more devastating. The production perfectly balances the primitive savagery of the original recordings with modern clarity that lets every brutal detail shine through. This is essential listening for anyone who wants to understand the true genesis of Florida death metal – when bands like Amon were forging the template that countless others would follow.
