Background information about 'Dawn Of The New Centurion'
When the son of a thrash legend picks up the torch, you expect fireworks — and on "Dawn Of The New Centurion", Hatriot deliver them with both fists. Steve "Zetro" Souza's boy Cody has grown into a genuinely commanding frontman, and the band behind him plays like a gang that just discovered the sweet spot between Bay Area bite and modern metallic muscle. The riffs come fast and mean, the rhythm section locks into a groove that practically dares you to stand still, and the choruses land with the kind of punch that makes you hit repeat before the song is even over.
There's real hunger here. You can hear a group that knows its history — the galloping riffs, the gang-shouted hooks, the solos that actually go somewhere — but refuses to just be a nostalgia act. Tracks swing between full-throttle aggression and mid-tempo stompers, all wrapped in a production that keeps the guitars razor-sharp and the drums thundering. It's the sound of a band claiming its own territory rather than living off a famous surname, and honestly, it works. Turn it up loud, because this one was built for volume.
