Background information about 'Severance'
Jet Jaguar returns with a crushing vengeance on "Severance", delivering their most ferocious and uncompromising heavy metal statement yet! This powerhouse collection showcases the band's evolution into a more mature and devastating force, with razor-sharp riffs that cut through the sonic landscape like a blade through steel. From the opening thunder of "Eternal Light" to the blistering velocity of "Mach 10", every track demonstrates why these metalheads have earned their stripes in the underground scene. The production is absolutely pristine, allowing every crushing drum hit and searing guitar solo to punch through with maximum impact.
The album's centerpiece, the title track "Severance", stands as a monument to modern heavy metal craftsmanship, while tracks like "Anthropocene" and "Disposable Minds" tackle contemporary themes with both lyrical intelligence and musical brutality. The inclusion of remixed versions of "Hollow Drive" and "Evil Within" adds an intriguing dimension, showing the band's willingness to experiment while staying true to their metallic roots. Bonus tracks "Call Of The Fight" and "Hunter" serve as the perfect cherry on top, giving fans extra ammunition for their headbanging arsenal.
