Background information about 'The Line'
Norwegian alternative pop sensation Kalandra delivers their stunning debut full-length "The Line" – a masterful collection that weaves ethereal melodies into raw and eerie musical landscapes. After captivating 1.9 million viewers with their haunting cover of Wardruna's "Helvegen" and contributing tracks to HBO Nordic's "Beforeigners", the band has crafted an album years in the making, written during a period of profound change and introspection.
The songs are reflections of the conflicting emotions that come with growth – feelings of wonder, anger, loss and acceptance at watching both your own life and the world around you unfold. "The Line" explores the different boundaries we encounter in life, be it mental barriers, lines on a map or the walls we put up between ourselves. This powerful blend of alternative pop and rock showcases the band's ability to transform personal struggles into universally resonant anthems, proving that somewhere along the line, it does get easier.
