Background information about ''

Khemmis delivers a thunderous declaration with "Doomed Heavy Metal", their third full-length that stands as a towering monument to everything glorious about heavy music. This Denver quartet has perfected the art of blending crushing doom with soaring traditional metal melodies, creating something that feels both timeless and urgently contemporary. The album opens with massive riffs that could move mountains, while Phil Pendergast and Ben Hutcherson's dual vocals dance between clean harmonies and harsh growls with remarkable fluidity.

What sets "Doomed Heavy Metal" apart is its emotional depth beneath the crushing weight. Songs like "A Conversation with Death" showcase the band's ability to craft epic narratives that resonate long after the final note fades. The production captures every nuance of their sound – from the earth-shaking low end to the crystalline guitar harmonies that pierce through the sonic storm. This isn't just an album; it's a manifesto for heavy music done right.
