Product information "PENTAGRAM · Sub-Basement | BLUE LP"

Blue vinyl, remastered version, brand-new cover art by Solo Macello, limited to 400 copies.

Background information about 'Sub-Basement'

In the pantheon of doom metal, few names resonate quite like Pentagram. Their album "Sub-Basement" is a masterclass in brooding atmospheres and relentless riffage. The record stands as a testament to their prowess in blending heavy metal with an almost ritualistic intensity. Reminiscent of early Black Sabbath, this reissue breathes new life into tracks that are both haunting and invigorating.

The reunion of Bobby Liebling and Joe Hasselvander on "Sub-Basement" is nothing short of legendary. With Hasselvander handling all instrumental duties and Liebling's vocals adding layers of despair and defiance, the album transcends mere music to embody the very essence of doom. From the crushing weight of "Bloodlust" to the hypnotic allure of "Go In Circles," each track draws listeners into a dark yet irresistible soundscape.
