Marschland

Marschland is the musical manifestation of Ernie Fleetenkieker, known as the mind behind KrachmuckerTV and the voice of German cult act Fäulnis. With this project, Ernie abandons the distortion and fury of black metal in favor of introspective, lo-fi folk textures infused with dark humor and existential contemplation. He calls it Catatonic Folk – a genre defined less by structure and more by feeling. Drawing from solitude, irony, and quiet despair, Marschland explores personal landscapes with sparse arrangements and raw emotional honesty.

Released via Edgar The Cat, the album is available on vinyl, tape, and digital – lovingly crafted, deeply personal, and sonically bare.
