Product information "MÖRK GRYNING · Fasornas Tid | BLACK LP"

Black 12" vinyl (33rpm) in gatefold sleeve. First pressing of 400 copies worldwide.

Background information about 'Fasornas Tid'

"Fasornas Tid" by Mörk Gryning stands as a testament to the raw, untamed essence of Swedish black metal. This album captures the foreboding allure and visceral intensity that the genre is renowned for. From the cold, shadowy depths of the '90s, Mörk Gryning has forged a path steeped in tradition yet unafraid to push boundaries. The album "Fasornas Tid" is a sonic odyssey into the abyss of human consciousness, exploring themes of inner turmoil, the eternal struggle between light and dark, and an insatiable craving for self-destruction.

With tracks such as "Tornet," which features fierce guest vocals by C of AVSLUT, and "Before The Crows Have Their Feast," laden with apocalyptic harmonies, Mörk Gryning weaves melodic black metal with death metal ferocity. Recorded at Wing Studios by Sverker Widgren and adorned with artwork by the enigmatic C-G, this album harks back to their iconic "Tusen år har gått..." era while remaining distinctly contemporary. It is a battle cry for the forsaken, echoing influences from DISSECTION, DARK FUNERAL, and MARDUK.
