Tracks like "Mon Rêve Animal" hit with a gut-punch of low-end fury, while "Je Est Absent" drifts into more ethereal, almost hopeful territory — a sliver of light in an otherwise dark, untethered world. Thematically, the album stares into the void of modern society's absurdity and cruelty, yet somehow finds moments of luminosity.
