Background information about 'Live at Gothenburg Film Studios'

Swedish AOR-influenced hard rockers NESTOR have finally captured their electrifying live energy on record with Live at Gothenburg Film Studios. And let me tell you — this thing is a pure shot of adrenaline for anyone who still believes in the power of big choruses, soaring melodies, and that unmistakable 80s rock glow.

Originally formed back in 1989, the band took the international rock scene by storm with their comeback in 2021, unleashing Kids in a Ghost Town (earning a Swedish Hard Rock/Metal Grammis nomination!). Since then, NESTOR has entered charts across Europe (including #12 on the Official German Album Charts and #19 in Sweden), followed up with the critically acclaimed Teenage Rebel (2024), and gathered millions of streams. They've won over audiences everywhere — from massive European festivals to the Monsters Of Rock Cruise in the US, headline shows in Japan, and sharing stages with legends like Kiss and Europe.

Now, this live album showcases their nostalgic, 80s-inspired melodic anthems in a new light — infused with their signature radiant live presence. From the catchy riffs of "Firesign" to the irresistible singalong chorus of "Teenage Rebel" and the epic AOR-drenched keys of "On The Run", this 16-track monster draws from their entire celebrated catalogue. It's arena-worthy rock at its finest, polished with the very best classic rock influences. Without a doubt, NESTOR continue their steady mission to restore the glory of rock!
