Queens of the Stone Age have spent over two decades carving out a sound that belongs to no one else. The record takes its spirit from Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold - where cracks aren't hidden but celebrated as part of the object's beauty. The songs here were written over a long period in different places, slowly taking shape through the experiences of their creators. The title itself is a playful twist - for Homme, perfection doesn't exist, and "Perfecth" captures the beauty of the imperfect instead. It's an album about love in all its forms: family, friendship, romance, loss, longing and healing. Nine songs that hit hard emotionally while the music swings between gritty riffs and fragile, atmospheric passages.
