Background information about 'Metalizer Re-Armed (Re-Release)'
Before Sabaton became the undisputed kings of military-themed power metal, they unleashed "Metalizer" – a raw, unpolished gem that showcased their potential in its most primal form. This re-armed edition brings their debut studio effort back to life with crystal-clear remastering that finally does justice to these thunderous anthems. Tracks like "Hellrider" and the title cut "Metalizer" crackle with youthful energy and unbridled aggression, while "7734" delivers that signature Sabaton storytelling with spine-tingling intensity.
What makes this release absolutely essential is the treasure trove of bonus material that paints a complete picture of the band's early evolution. The inclusion of "Jawbreaker" – their crushing take on the Judas Priest classic – demonstrates their reverence for metal's founding fathers, while the demo version of "Panzer Battalion" offers a fascinating glimpse into their creative process. The live rendition of "Hellrider" from Västerås 2006 captures the raw power that would eventually conquer festival stages worldwide.
