Background information about 'Roadworn Soul'

Friday, October 13, 2023, will be a great day for lovers of vintage punk and roll. On this day, “Roadworn Soul,” the brand-new album from The Silver Shine, will be released on CD and vinyl, as well as on all major digital platforms. In addition to a limited edition of 111 hand-numbered red/black marbled LPs, fans will also be able to purchase three very limited edition collector's items in the form of enhanced vinyl:

20 liquid-filled vinyl records with black and red liquid
15 vinyl records filled with rose petals
15 vinyl records filled with silver foil

The band's eleventh release contains a total of 10 songs, including 8 brand new original tracks and two cover songs: Creedence Clearwater Revival's “Bad Moon Rising” and Lynn Anderson's “Rose Garden.”

You can expect a classic vintage punk rock ‘n’ roll sound similar to the band's previous albums, with a unique line-up: a thunderous female upright bassist, Krista Kat, Gretsch endorser Ati EDGE with his screeching guitar, and drummer Peete Jones. In addition to Social Distortion-esque punk rock songs, there are also a number of rockabilly and psychobilly-influenced tracks reminiscent of the band's early years.

The album was produced in collaboration with Wolverine Records and Grund Records.
