The album signifies a shift towards more vocal expression, influenced by Unreqvited’s transition into a live band setting. Composed with future performances in mind, it serves as a Blackgaze soundtrack enriched by the bonus track, a cover of Hans Zimmer's "Cornfield Chase." The album maintains the ethereal passages seen in "Beautiful Ghosts" while incorporating clear vocals that heralded this evolution.

Unreqvited masterfully intertwines elements from their past works, combining massive anthemic choruses reminiscent of "Mosaic I: L'amour et l'ardeur" with simple melancholic melodies from their debut "Disquiet" and the orchestral grandeur of "Empathica." Established by 鬼 in 2016, Unreqvited is described as an ever-evolving entity with vast stylistic breadth.
