Background information about 'Sins Of The Father'
Australian death metal veterans Abramelin are back with a vengeance on "Sins of the Father", an album that hits like a sledgehammer wrapped in barbed wire. The band, who have been carving their name into the underground scene for decades, deliver ten tracks of pure, unadulterated death metal fury that refuses to let up from the first riff to the final crushing blow. From the opening assault of "Conflagration of the Dreamers" to the gut-wrenching closer "You Bleed, I Feed", this record is a masterclass in old-school brutality filtered through a modern production lens.
What makes Sins of the Father stand out is the sheer variety packed into its runtime. Tracks like "The Gory Hole" and "Shell of a Man" showcase the band's ability to shift from pummeling blast beats to groove-laden, mid-tempo stomps without missing a beat. The title track itself is a monstrous centerpiece, while "Man's Best Friend" and "Street Art" reveal a darker, more sinister side to the band's songwriting. Abramelin prove they haven't lost a step, delivering an album that honors their legacy while pushing their sound forward. This is death metal played with conviction, anger, and an undeniable sense of purpose.
