Background information about 'Sins Of The Father'

Abramelin have been a force of nature in the Australian death metal underground for decades, and "Sins of the Father" proves that the old guard still knows exactly how to deliver the goods. This record hits like a sledgehammer to the skull, blending the raw aggression of classic death metal with a modern production that lets every riff land with devastating impact. From the opening salvo of "Conflagration of the Dreamers" to the closing brutality of "You Bleed, I Feed," this album never lets up. The band channels the spirit of the early 90s scene while keeping their sound fresh and vital, with chugging grooves, ferocious blast beats, and vocals that sound like they're being ripped from the depths of hell itself.

What sets this record apart is its sheer variety within the death metal framework. Tracks like "Man's Best Friend" and "Deceased Estate" showcase the band's knack for memorable, almost catchy riff work, while "Shell of a Man" and "Meet the Meat" dive into darker, more oppressive territory. The production is thick and punishing, giving every instrument room to breathe while maintaining that crushing wall of sound. Abramelin have crafted an album that feels both timeless and urgent, a testament to their longevity and their refusal to compromise their vision. This is death metal for people who love death metal, plain and simple.
