There are records that grab you by the throat from the very first second, and Aggressive Perfector's Havoc at the Midnight Hour does exactly that — and then some. This is speed metal the way it was meant to be: filthy, relentless, and utterly possessed by the spirit of the mid-80s underground. The UK outfit has been carving their name into the rotting flesh of the scene since 2013, but this new slab feels like their most focused, venomous strike yet.

What hits you immediately is the sheer density of the riff assault. There's no polite introduction, no atmospheric build-up — just a wall of barbed-wire guitars, frantic drumming that sounds like it was recorded in a collapsing warehouse, and vocals spat out with the kind of conviction that can't be faked. The production walks that perfect line between raw and crushing, giving each track the feel of a long-lost demo unearthed from some European tape-trading vault circa 1986. Tracks like Chains of Black Wrath and Turbo Evil channel the same primal energy that made early Slayer and Sepultura so dangerous, while Onward to the Cemetery opens the gates with a galloping fury that would make the Teutonic gods proud. There's a real sense of urgency here — nothing overstays its welcome, every song hits like a switchblade and disappears into the night.
