Background information about 'Love Comes Down'
Baby Woodrose delivers an absolute stunner with "Love Comes Down", a 14-track powerhouse that showcases Lorenzo Woodrose's masterful blend of psychedelic garage rock and melodic hard rock sensibilities. This Danish outfit has crafted something truly special here – a collection that bursts with raw energy while maintaining an infectious pop sensibility that'll have you hitting repeat before the final notes of the title track fade away.
From the opening punch of "What Ya Gonna Do?" to the epic five-minute journey of "Love Comes Down", every track packs a serious wallop. Lorenzo's distinctive vocals soar over fuzzed-out guitars and thunderous rhythms, creating a sound that's both retro and refreshingly modern. Standout cuts like "Kitty Galore" and "Chemical Buzz" demonstrate the band's ability to craft perfect garage rock anthems, while tracks like "Growing Younger" and "Christine" reveal their more melodic, introspective side. The production strikes that perfect balance – crisp enough to capture every nuance, yet maintaining that essential gritty edge that makes garage rock so irresistible.
