Dying Victims Productions has been sitting on a gem, and now it's finally getting the reissue treatment it deserves. Baphomet's Blood's fourth album, "In Satan We Trust," originally surfaced back in 2016, and this 10th-anniversary edition — pressed on vinyl and, for the very first time, on CD — lets the record hit even harder than before. If you thought you knew these Italian speed demons from their first three full-lengths, think again. Those early slabs were raw, unpolished working-class heavy speed metal, all grit and no gloss. But "In Satan We Trust" is where the band finally locked every moving part into place. It's their most cohesive, most vicious statement to date, and it absolutely rips from the first power chord to the last cymbal crash.

What you get here are eight tracks of pure, unapologetic speed metal fury. The riffs come fast and nasty, the vocals snarl with genuine menace, and the whole thing barrels forward with the kind of reckless momentum that makes you want to throw horns and bang your head until your neck gives out. There's no filler, no ballads, no mercy — just the sound of a band that has spent years sharpening its blade and finally knows exactly how to swing it. Tucked in among the originals is a cover of the obscure Hungarian heavy metal outfit Fáraó, a deep-cut nod that shows these guys worship at the right altars. If you live for the old-school sound of leather, spikes, and relentless double-time gallop, this is essential.
