Background information about 'Merciless'
Body Count, the iconic rap metal band fronted by Ice-T, storms back onto the scene with their explosive eighth album, "Merciless." This record is a testament to their resilience and unwavering energy as they channel their inner fury into twelve electrifying tracks. Having faced personal loss and societal challenges, Body Count emerges stronger, delivering an album that's both a reflection of their struggles and a declaration of their relentless drive. The album features collaborations with heavyweights like George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher from Cannibal Corpse, Joe Bad from Fit For An Autopsy, and Max Cavalera from Soulfly, adding layers of intensity and passion.
"Merciless" is more than just an album; it's a cathartic release where Ice-T and his crew draw lines in the sand against all odds. The lineup includes original members Ernie C. and Sean E Sean, alongside new powerhouse additions like bassist Vincent Price and drummer Will “Ill Will” Dorsey. Each track is crafted to resonate with listeners on a visceral level, pushing the boundaries of rap metal and solidifying Body Count's place in the musical pantheon.
