Background information about 'Gehenna [BLACK]'

Crone delivers a haunting sonic journey with "Gehenna", an album that explores the darker territories of alternative rock with atmospheric depth and emotional weight. The band crafts a sound that's both heavy and ethereal, weaving together crushing riffs with moments of beautiful melancholy that create an almost cinematic listening experience. Each track builds upon themes of existential dread and spiritual questioning, with the production allowing every element to breathe while maintaining the album's oppressive atmosphere.

The songwriting on "Gehenna" showcases Crone's ability to balance aggression with introspection, creating compositions that feel both immediate and layered with hidden depths. The guitar work ranges from doom-laden passages to more delicate, almost post-rock influenced sections that provide breathing room between the album's heavier moments. The rhythm section provides a solid foundation that anchors the band's more experimental tendencies, while the vocals alternate between clean melodic passages and more intense delivery that perfectly complements the music's emotional range.

For fans of: Neurosis, Isis, Cult of Luna, and Amenra
