Background information about 'Daemonium Regni'

When darkness beckons and ancient liturgies whisper from forgotten realms, Daemonium Regni emerges as the vessel for pure malevolent worship. This self-titled debut from Micke Broberg's latest creation crawls forth like black lava, each note deliberately paced yet utterly devastating. The eight tracks comprising this unholy communion feel less like songs and more like incantations—a complete liturgy charged with foul energy and dedicated to darkness itself.

What sets this apart from the endless sea of black metal pretenders is the masterful layering and the haunting prominence of Latin vocals. Broberg, known primarily as the voice of Unanimated, has crafted something far more sinister here. The vocals shift seamlessly between demonic growls and sombre chanting, mixed to the foreground where they belong, creating an atmosphere thick with unsettling dread. Dan Swanö's mastering at Unisound Studios ensures every blasphemous whisper cuts through with crystalline clarity, while Daniele Valeriani's artwork perfectly captures the album's ominous essence.
