Sweden’s DARK TRANQUILLITY are undisputedly not only one of the pioneering acts of the “Gothenburg Sound”, but also an ever relevant and constantly progressing melodic death metal institution. “Projector”, the band’s classic 4th full-length album and Century Media Records debut from 1999, is now finally re-issued on vinyl for its 25th Anniversary. Originally recorded with Fredrik Nordström / Studio Fredman (In Flames, Arch Enemy, At The Gates, etc.), the album’s main 10 songs now come with a fresh 2024 vinyl remaster by Dan Swanö / Unisound (Opeth, Katatonia, Edge Of Sanity, etc.). “Projector (Re-issue 2024)” is available on brick red 180g. vinyl in the right timing for DARK TRAQUILLITY’s massive European tour with Moonspell and Wolfheart to promote the launch of their newest studio album effort “Endtime Signals”. Gothenburg-style melodic death metal for the win!
