Tracks like "Heading for Decapitation" and "Dragged Through the Mud" don't bother with subtlety — they're built on that signature Swedish chainsaw crunch, drenched in filth and reverb, with vocals that sound like they were recorded in a morgue drawer. There's a punkish, almost rock 'n' roll swagger lurking beneath the grime, a sense of fun that never tips into parody. "Christ All Fucking Mighty" is as blasphemous and catchy as the title suggests, while "Coffins of the Unembalmed Dead" crawls at a pace that'll make your skin itch.
