Background information about 'World Domination'

Swedish death metal veterans Demonical deliver another crushing blow to the scene with "World Domination", their sixth full-length assault that showcases the band's unwavering commitment to old-school brutality. Recorded during the pandemic summer of 2020, this album captures the band at their most focused and ferocious, blending the classic Swedish death metal sound with modern production values that make every riff cut like a razor. From the opening declaration of "My Kingdom Done" to the punishing finale, Demonical proves they haven't lost an ounce of their savage intensity after nearly two decades of carnage.

The album benefits from stellar guest appearances, most notably Nils Patrik Johansson lending his powerful vocals to "Slipping Apart", adding an unexpected melodic dimension to the band's typically unrelenting approach. The production courtesy of Karl Daniel Lidén at Tri-Lamb Studios gives the album that perfect balance between clarity and crushing heaviness that modern death metal demands. Tracks like "Hellfire Rain" and "Victorious" showcase the band's ability to craft memorable hooks without sacrificing their trademark aggression, while deeper cuts like "Aeons Of Death" remind listeners why Swedish death metal remains the gold standard for the genre.
