Guitarists Antti Boman and Aki Hyysalo weave labyrinthine, atonal patterns that owe as much to progressive rock's weirdest corners as they do to the Stockholm death metal scene. Boman's vocal delivery is something else entirely — a guttural, croaking growl that sounds less like human language and more like some ancient, subterranean entity trying to communicate through layers of bedrock.
