What kills me every time I drop the needle is how alive it all feels. Schmier's vocals are this snarling, spitting force of nature, the riffs come at you like a wall of rusty razors, and the rhythm section thunders along with a reckless energy that feels like it could derail at any second. Tracks like the title cut and "The Butcher Strikes Back" aren't just songs, they're adrenaline shots straight to the chest.
