Dragonsclaw returns with their long-awaited third album "Moving Target" after an incredible twelve-year hiatus since 2013's "Judgement Day". Featuring the powerhouse vocals of Giles Lavery (known from Warlord, Alcatrazz, and Jack Starr), this Australian outfit delivers a masterclass in traditional heavy metal that bridges the gap between classic and contemporary sounds. The album showcases the talents of Australian members Ben Thomas on guitar and Aaron Thomas on bass, alongside Warlord veterans Mark Zonder on drums and Jimmy Waldo on keyboards, creating a formidable lineup that brings both experience and fresh energy to the table.

Lavery himself describes "Moving Target" as sounding "like Judas Priest recorded another album somewhere between 'Defenders Of The Faith' and 'Turbo' in 1985, with a dash of the second Fifth Angel to round it out." The keyboards play a crucial atmospheric role throughout, evoking the dramatic flair of Virgin Steele's "Age Of Consent" era, while tracks like "Shadowfire" feature a stunning duet with Todd Michael Hall of Riot V.
