Background information about 'The Long Forever'
Elephant Tree and Lowrider have joined forces to bring forth a sonic journey that defies temporal confines with their split album, "The Long Forever". This collaboration melds the UK and Swedish titans of Stoner Rock and Doom Metal, resulting in an atmospheric tapestry of heavy riffs and haunting melodies. The album opens with Lowrider's "And The Horse You Rode In On," setting an unprecedented tone with its seismic basslines and hypnotic rhythms. Each track is a testament to their mastery of creating immersive soundscapes that echo through the corridors of time.
Elephant Tree's contribution amplifies the experience, weaving introspective lyrics with colossal guitar work. Their tracks like "Fucked In The Head" are raw yet refined, enveloping listeners in waves of ethereal distortion. The combined effort culminates in the title track "Long Forever," where both bands converge into a crescendo that reverberates long after the final note fades. This record is not just an auditory experience; it's a voyage through the realms of sound orchestrated by two formidable forces.
