This is the album where they famously told the purists to take a hike, ditching the buzzsaw guitar tone of their Sunlight Studio days for a crunchier, more rock-driven assault. And you know what? It absolutely rips. The opening title track comes roaring out of the gate with that unmistakable LG Petrov swagger — part death metal warlord, part leather-clad rock 'n' roll outlaw. There's a swagger here, a groove, that most death metal bands at the time wouldn't dare touch. Entombed didn't just touch it — they grabbed it by the throat.

The beauty of this record lies in its filth-caked diversity. You've got the relentless pummeling of "Like This With The Devil," the almost stoner-rock lurch of "Wound," and the bizarre, lurching nightmare that is "Uffe's Horrorshow." The production is raw but punchy, giving every track room to breathe while maintaining that signature Stockholm filth.
