The twin vocal attack of the Rimmerfors brothers carries that unmistakable weight of Scandinavian folk tradition, while the band's signature use of bouzouki, jew's harp, and hurdy-gurdy weaves a tapestry that feels both timeless and urgent.

What makes Nifelheim so compelling is how effortlessly it balances the raw, riff-driven power of classic heavy metal with melodies that sound like they've been pulled straight from the misty forests of Swedish folklore.
