Winterbane is the third full-length from Frozen Crown, and it lands like a snow squall off the Alps — fast, cold, and impossible to ignore. The Italian outfit, led by the twin guitar attack of Federico Mondelli and the soaring, classically trained voice of Giada "Jade" Etro, has sharpened everything that made their debut such a joy. The riffs are tighter, the choruses bigger, and the keyboard work of Mondelli glitters over the top like frost on a windowpane.
