666-Pack is exactly what you hope for when a band calls itself Insanity Alert: a short, sharp, gloriously stupid-good shot of crossover thrash that never once stops to catch its breath. The Austrians have always understood that the best riffs in this genre arrive like a fist to the face, and here they land one after another, wrapped in gang-shouted choruses and a groove so thick you will be headbanging before you have even finished reading the tracklist. Tracks like "The Body Of The Christ Is The Parasite" are lean, mean and built for the pit, while their gleefully unhinged take on "Saturday Grind Fever" shows a band who love this music far too much to ever play it safe.

What makes 666-Pack such a joy is the sheer lack of pretence. There is no filler, no unnecessary intro, no ballad hiding at the end — just riff after riff, breakdown after breakdown, all delivered with a wink and a smirk. The production keeps everything raw enough to feel dangerous but clear enough that every snare hit and every shouted backing vocal punches straight through.
