Background information about 'Raw Blood Singing'

Insect Ark's latest album, "Raw Blood Singing," is a compelling exploration into the darker realms of rock and metal. Infusing a blend of experimental soundscapes with post-metal grit and doom-laden overtones, this release stands as a testament to the band's unique artistry. The opening track "Birth of a Black Diamond" sets a haunting tone that is carried through each subsequent track. With its atmospheric layers and intricate instrumentation, the album weaves an evocative narrative that captivates listeners from start to finish.

This limited edition LP features contributions from notable musicians like Ville Leppilahti on piano and synthesizer, adding depth to tracks such as "Cleaven Hearted" and "The Hands." Mixed at The Thousand Caves and mastered by James Plotkin, the production quality is nothing short of stellar. From the subtle nuances in "Psychological Jackal" to the brooding climax of "Ascension," Insect Ark delivers a sonic experience that both challenges and enchants.
