Background information about 'Give 'Em The Axe'
Lizzy Borden returns with a vengeance on "Give 'Em The Axe", a four-track assault that proves these California metal veterans haven't lost an ounce of their bite. This EP serves up exactly what longtime fans crave: razor-sharp riffs, thunderous rhythms, and that unmistakable Lizzy Borden attitude that's been crushing skulls since the early '80s. The title track opens with a sledgehammer blow of pure heavy metal fury, while "Kiss Of Death" delivers the kind of melodic yet menacing hooks that made this band legendary in the first place.
The second half maintains the momentum with "No Time To Lose", a relentless rocker that showcases the band's tight-as-nails chemistry, before closing with their electrifying take on "Long Live Rock N Roll". Every track here crackles with the raw energy and precision that separates true metal warriors from pretenders. This isn't just a comeback – it's a statement that Lizzy Borden remains one of heavy metal's most formidable forces.
