Wehrmacht are back and they're not here to make friends. Shark Attack is a relentless, filthy, and utterly unapologetic slab of old-school thrash metal that sounds like it was recorded in a basement full of broken beer bottles and blown-out amps. Originally unleashed in the late 80s, this album is a cult classic for a reason — it's raw, it's fast, and it's dripping with that uniquely American crossover attitude that bands like D.R.I. and Cryptic Slaughter perfected. But Wehrmacht add their own brand of twisted, almost punk-infused aggression that keeps you on your toes from the first riff to the last feedback squeal.

Tracks like "Shark Attack" and "Blow You Away" hit like a sledgehammer to the skull, while "Jabberjaw" and "Concrete Meat" show the band's twisted sense of humor without ever sacrificing intensity. The production is gloriously dirty — this isn't some polished, overproduced modern metal record. This is thrash with its teeth bared, recorded hot and mean. Every track sounds like it could fall apart at any second, and that's exactly what makes it so damn exciting. The rhythm section is a pummeling beast, the riffs are jagged and vicious, and the vocals are spat out with pure venom. This is thrash metal in its most primal, dangerous form.
