After more than three decades of silence, Swiss technical metal pioneers Coroner return with "Dissonance Theory", delivering 10 tracks of uncompromising precision across 47 minutes. The album showcases the band's signature blend of brutal technicality and relentless clarity that made them legends in the thrash underground. Recorded by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios and masterfully mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, the production captures every intricate detail while maintaining the raw power that defines their sound.

The album's conceptual framework explores themes of contradiction and mathematical precision, reflected in tracks like "Oxymoron" and "Symmetry". From the opening assault of "Consequence" to the haunting finale "Prolonging", Coroner proves that their innovative approach to technical thrash remains unmatched. The inclusion of their legendary 1986 "Death Cult" demo as a bonus disc - featuring Tom G. Warrior on vocals - adds historical significance to this monumental comeback.
