Background information about 'Mossweaver'

"Mossweaver" transforms atmospheric black metal into a shamanic rewilding ritual. Old Growth, Animist's solo project, creates seven compositions that function as initiation ceremony into primal wilderness. Each track dedicates itself to different aspects of nature – from majestic woodland queens to mystical wisdom altars.

Animist's radical approach lets wild nature itself speak through the instruments, rather than human interpretation of natural sounds. Shamanic chants merge with primitive rhythms into a sound that's simultaneously meditative and feral. The organic production captures the atmosphere of untouched landscapes, creating an acoustic path back to our animalistic roots. "Mossweaver" is less an album than a musical reminder of our wild, free past – perfect for those seeking to deepen their connection to nature through extreme sound.
