Background information about 'Here, Among The Stars'
Rraauumm don't knock politely. "Here, Among The Stars" arrives like weather rolling in off a frozen plain, three tracks of black metal that trade the usual blast-beat sprint for something slower, heavier and far more unsettling. The opening "Apotheosis" builds its case patiently, layering tremolo riffing over a rhythm section that seems to be breathing rather than playing, before the whole thing collapses into a stretch of cold, ringing dissonance that feels genuinely earned. It's the sound of a band who understand that dread works best when it's rationed.
By the time "Black Aether At The Rim" takes hold, the record has found its stride, all murky low-end and guitars that scrape rather than soar, and the title track closes things out with a strange, almost elegiac grandeur. There's a real sense of architecture here, three movements rather than three songs, and the production keeps everything raw enough to sting while still letting the details surface. Nothing about this feels like a debut scrambling for attention. It feels like a statement, delivered quietly and with total confidence.
