Background information about 'Fearsick'
Inhuman Condition returns with "Fearsick", their crushing sophomore effort that cements their status as torchbearers of classic death metal brutality. This Florida death metal supergroup—featuring Jeramie Kling (Overkill, ex-Venom Inc.) on vocals and drums, Taylor Nordberg (Deicide, Umbilicus) on guitar, and Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Death) on bass—delivers nine tracks of unrelenting sonic devastation that builds magnificently upon their "Rat God" foundation.
From the opening assault of "The Mold Testament" to the crushing finale of "Where Pain is Infinity", Inhuman Condition showcases their mastery of mid-tempo grooves, razor-sharp riffing, and commanding vocal delivery. Tracks like "Recycled Hate" and "I'm Now the Monster" demonstrate the band's ability to craft memorable hooks within their punishing framework, while "Hellucid" and "Wound Collector" explore darker atmospheric territories without sacrificing an ounce of intensity. The production by Jeramie Kling himself captures every crushing detail with crystal clarity, allowing the devastating interplay between Nordberg's surgical guitar work and Butler's thunderous bass foundation to shine through.
