Background information about 'Dreams Of Eschaton'
Manilla Road returns with vengeance on this spectacular reissue of "Dreams Of Eschaton", a testament to why these Kansas metal legends remain untouchable in the realm of epic heavy metal. This isn't just another album – it's a sonic journey through apocalyptic visions and mystical realms that only Mark Shelton and his crew could conjure. The raw power and mythological storytelling that made Manilla Road pioneers of the underground scene explodes through every track, delivering that signature blend of NWOBHM influences with distinctly American grit.
The production captures that perfect balance between clarity and that essential underground rawness that made the original so captivating. Shelton's guitar work soars through progressive passages while maintaining that crushing heavy metal foundation, complemented by thunderous rhythms that drive each epic composition forward. This reissue brings new life to these apocalyptic anthems, allowing both longtime devotees and newcomers to experience the band's visionary approach to metal storytelling.
